Apply ImageReplacement to any image on your Freeway layout, then choose a semantic heading tag to replace it (H1 - H6). The image will become the background image for the heading, and the text of the heading (made from the alt text of your image) will disappear on screen.

Search engines and visually disabled persons will see and understand the meaning of your page to a much greater degree, while visual browsers will enjoy an identical layout to what you see in Freeway (WYSIWYG).

Walt, is it possible to mod this so it works on graphic background images in a div?

Not until a version of Freeway that allows Actions to access the stylesheets. I could make a hacky one that would only work if you didn't allow External Stylesheets, but that's sub-optimal anyway.

Yeah, figures. Thanks.

This action actually creates a background image, doncha know… When you say you want to have it "work on graphic background images in a div", what are you asking it to do? What this does is take an image that you've defined as an inline or foreground image, style it as the background-image to its parent element, and then take any alt text and use it as the text content of an Hn tag, which is then styled to scoot out of the way.

I understand how it works, but my background is applied to a div from the Inspector Pallet. Just would be nice if it handled that way. No big deal.
