Please note. This Action only works on windows that were created from scripts (such as Link to New Window or Spawn New Window). Browser vendors have removed the ability to resize regular windows.

This Action will force a page to be either the same size as the display being viewed on or a specified size.

Use this Action with great care. Messing with the browser window is a pretty great way to piss off your visitors.

Hey, Does anyone know how I can achieve the inverse of this action. I'm designing a streaming media player console and I want the browser window to be restricted to the page size. Many Thanks, Jim

There is an option in here to set the window at a specific size but I think the Link to New Window Action may be a better one (it's built in). Joe

Joe, How great of you to get back to me so quickly. I would normally use the built in except I'm not controlling the link to the player. I'm simply handing off the final files and wanted to make it standalone fool proof. The dimensions dialogue in this action don't seem to effect the size, it's always full screen. BTW, while I have you, can you point me in the direction of learning how to place my streaming media embed tag into my page? Thanks, Jim

I have tried this on a site but found that WC3 would not validate it

This is exactly what I'm looking for but I can't get it to work. Can you show me any example sites? I'm trying to show an image as large as possible on screen. Preferably full screen and centered.

I can't get this action to do anything at all. I assume I'm doing something wrong? Any help?

Wow a year and no help huh? That sucks!

The best way to get help is to contact us directly in support. This is a pretty old Action and isn't monitored or officially supported.
