Description
This is a complete re-write of the ScriptyLightbox Action. It does less than the original, but hopefully will be more useful for that limited set of functions.
To use, create a thumbnail image on your page. Apply the Action to this image, and in the Actions palette, choose the file you want to open when you click that thumbnail. You may use any of the following formats:
- JPEG
- PNG
- GIF
- MOV
- M4V
- MP4
- SWF
You may also use a page, either within the current site or at another site. To use this feature, check the “Use Page/URL as Target” checkbox, then choose your page or enter a URL.
Enter the height and width of the original file in the fields provided. For plug-in content, this will be the fixed size that the movie plays at, so you should choose a size that is smaller than the minimum screen size you’ve used to design your page.
For pixel-based media, the final image will be resized downward to fit the screen if necessary, but you should still try to keep the dimensions down to a reasonable size in order to avoid lengthy load times for your visitors.
